The short version: there are no accounts and no sign-in. The app never asks for your name, email address or location, and nothing you do inside it is sent to us. This page explains the rest in full.
DEV What stays on your device
These are saved on your phone and are never transmitted anywhere:
- Your selected country or region
- Your time format, 12- or 24-hour
- Your favourite channels and programmes
- Reminders you have set for programmes
- A temporary copy of guide data and app settings, so the app opens quickly and still works when you are offline
Clearing the app’s storage in your device settings erases all of it. So does uninstalling.
NET What other companies receive
The app connects to outside services to work. Any internet connection reveals your device’s IP address and basic technical details of the request, and these are no exception.

ADS Advertising
The app shows banner advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads may be personalised using your Advertising ID.
You can reset or delete that ID, and turn off ad personalisation for every app at once, under Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can change that choice later from inside the app.
PRM Permissions
- Internet access — needed to download schedules and show ads.
- Notifications — optional, and only used for reminders you set yourself. Reminders are created on your device and nothing is sent to a server. Decline it and everything else still works.
- Advertising ID — used by AdMob, as described above.
The app does not ask for your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files or call history.
AGE Children
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Listings are supplied by third-party guide providers and describe general broadcast television.
DEL Keeping and deleting data
Everything is stored locally and there are no accounts, so there is no record of yours for us to keep or delete. Removing the app removes everything it saved. To clear advertising data held by Google, use the Android advertising controls linked above.
EPG Programme information
Schedules and channel logos come from third-party programme guide sources. Channel names and logos are trademarks of their respective broadcasters and appear only to identify a channel within the guide. TV Schedule is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any broadcaster.
